A playful reinterpretation of the legendary Tetris game, LummoBlocks was designed to foster spontaneous social interaction in public spaces. By projecting an oversized version of the game onto urban façades, passersby could engage in a shared digital experience, transforming public space into a playground for collaboration and fun.
The project was initiated during the Open Up workshop (February 2010) organized by Medialab-Prado in Madrid. It was developed by the Lummo collective with contributions from Nina Valkanova, Sebastian Hundertmark, Francesco Ozzola, Nacho Cossío, Nenad Katic, Fabiana de Barros, Montfagüe F. Lavandera, Óscar de la Mora, Max Neupert, Abraham Manzanares, and David Peñuela.

In addition, LummoBlocks was showcased throughout the summer of 2010 in Seville, at Medialab-Prado (Madrid) during weekends, at Ars Electronica 2010 (Linz), CHB Berlin, and simultaneously in Madrid and Berlin during La Noche en Blanco 2010. It was also part of several events under the European Media Facade Festival 2010.
